- Entertainment Books: The books related to entertainment like novels, comics, magazines, etc. should be kept in the North-west or North direction.
- Religious & Spiritual Books: Religious & Spiritual books are recommended.

- Place the bookshelf on the south or west walls or corner of the house.
- Avoid putting them in the middle of the room and it is recommended to leave the zone empty.
- Do not put them specifically above a study table because it can make it stretch for the student.
