- The kitchen should never be built in the South-West, North-East, or the land's north and centre.
- If the North-East direction is being used for the kitchen, it may lead the owner to face disasters like bankruptcy, food waste etc.
- It causes enmity and hostility in relationships if directed southwest. A kitchen facing north is not conducive to financial growth.
- The cooking range should be in the east and south of the kitchen, and the cooks and chefs should face east while cooking.
