Vastu for Villa
A house built as per Vastu can be heaven. Presently 70% of property buyers are either buying Flats in villas. In simple words, they are buying a house that is already built.
Not all the Flats and Villas are built according to the Standards of Vastu. Buying a house that is not built as per the Vastu Standards is believed to bring bad fortune, well-being issues, and fight between family members. Vastu for Villa Shape
According to Vastu experts and science, the shape of the villa must be square or rectangular. If the shape of the villa is designed oval, circular, or triangular then all the rooms inside the villa will not be made as per the Vastu experts.
Vastu for Main Entrance
- The ideal position of the main entrance of the villa is North, North-East, or East.
- Other directions that can be excellent for the villa’s main entrance are South, South-East, and West.
- This must be kept in mind that the main entrance door of the villa must be large other than the other doors inside the villa.
- Always prefer the main door of the villa to be wooden because it prevents all the negative energy. Avoid metal doors for the main entrance.
- The threshold of the main entrance must be made up of wood or marble.
- You can also decorate the main entrance to make it look appealing.
Vastu for Living Room
- The ideal direction of the living room in the villa is North-East. If the living room is built in this direction, it must be built as an open area.
- The face of the living room must be in the southeast direction.
- The living room should be connected to the kitchen.
- In the North-East direction of the living room, a puja room must be built.
- The position of the furniture must be in the West or South-West direction of the living room.
- The sofa should be placed against the North or East wall of the living room.
- Select wooden furniture instead of other types of furniture.
- The TV unit must be placed against the South-East side of the living room.
- The shapes of the furniture (Sofa, couch, chairs) must be square or rectangular.
- According to Vastu experts, choose neutral colours like white, beige, light blue, green, or any other light shade of colour. However, you must keep in mind to never use dark colours for the living room.
- Make sure to keep the living room clean and let the fresh air come in.
- Avoid those pieces of artwork that signify sorrow. Remove all the broken materials, especially mirrors.
- If possible then install a fish aquarium as it brings freshness and a peaceful atmosphere.
Vastu for Kitchen
- The ideal direction of the kitchen in the villa is Northeast and Northwest.
- The size of the kitchen must be big instead of small.
- The kitchen must be built while keeping these five elements in mind i.e., Earth, Sky, Fire, Air, and Water.
- The windows play an essential role in the kitchen so an ideal place for windows is in the East direction of the kitchen.
- The cabinets, floors, slabs, and ceiling of the kitchen must be in the light shade of colours instead of dark ones.
Vastu for Bedrooms
- According to Vastu, it is highly recommended that wood should be used in the bedroom instead of any other material as it brings peace and happiness.
- Use a large bed in the bedroom instead of joining two single beds.
- If possible, try to avoid placing a mirror in the bedroom as the Vastu expert says that it should not be placed anywhere near you. Because it affects the health of the human body.
- The placement of the bedroom doors must not be in front of the bathroom doors.
- Avoid having windows right behind the bed.
- Install a windchime or dreamcatcher in the bedroom to make the atmosphere peaceful.
- Make certain that the bedroom must not be built above the kitchen as it will directly affect your sleep.
- Use light shades of colour in the bedroom, especially white, beige and light pink.
Vastu for Bathroom
- In the urban area, most people prefer attached bathrooms with bedrooms, but in Vastu, it is said to keep the bathroom and bedroom separate.
- The ideal location of the bathroom is in the North-West direction.
- The colours that must be used in the bathroom are white, sky blue, light green, lime, or any other light shade.
- The door of the bathroom should be in the north or east direction.
- Avoid letting the bathroom door open as it brings negative energy.
- Do not place taps or water storage in the North-East and North-West directions.
- The toilet must be in the South direction of the bathroom.
- The floor of the bathroom must not be the same floor level as the bedroom's.
Vastu for Balcony
- The best direction for a balcony in the villa is North, North-East, or East.
- The floor level of the balcony must be lower level as compared to the rest of the villa.
- Avoid the placement of washing machines on the balcony as it affects the wealth of the family.
- The balcony must be decorated with flowers and plants.
- Light shades are the ideal colours for the balcony.
- Use the square shape of furniture and must be placed in the South-West direction.
- Sliding windows are the best for the balcony.
